ALL TO HIM VISION UPDATE – JUNE 2024
All to Him is a two-year discipleship journey at Crosspoint City Church rooted in Luke 9:24, “For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.” As long as our doors are open we will leverage ourselves and this church for His kingdom. Here are some of the highlights from this last season.
CELEBRATE
In April, we held one of our largest community engagement events of the year, Bless Weekend. We had 180 people serve across 13 sites. We completed 15 projects to help support 6 of our Crosspoint City Community Partners and provided fun, engaging activities to 23 foster children.
In May, we celebrated the official ribbon-cutting and grand opening of the Compassion Center with the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to continuing to serve the uninsured, under-served, and unsheltered neighbors in our community.
In May, we held our second Foster Care interest meeting with 53 people in attendance. We trained 31 people to serve in care communities.
In May, we held an Acworth Location Interest Meeting with 120 people in attendance.
In June, we hired a Students and Young Adults Minister for our Rome Location. We believe that this intentional investment in the next generation will make an eternal impact in this city and beyond.
In June, we held our first-ever Act Like Men Conference. Over 900 men from our city and across the world gathered to receive Godly teachings that challenged them to become better leaders, lovers, protectors, and providers.
PRAY
we are sending our largest group of students to student camp from july 12th to 15th. we’re praying for the holy spirit to bring about life to in one of the most vulnerable generations.
as we have seen significant growth at our rome location, we couldn’t be more excited to transition to two gatherings on august 4th. be in prayer for the rome serve and staff teams as they make this transition to two gatherings.
be in prayer for the acworth location as they gather their core team and prepare to launch in january 2025. pray as leaders are being identified so we can lay a strong foundation in this city.
